Hair Transplant Surgery

One of the most visible parts of the human body, hair has a dramatic effect on a person’s appearance and self-esteem. When hair loss becomes an issue, many people seek ways to get rid of hair loss and restore hair to its full glory. Hair transplantation is one of the most popular solutions for hair loss.

There are several methods of hair transplantation available today. They range from the “strip method” to the “full-thickness graft method.” These methods are used to restore hair in the donor area and to fill in areas of hair loss.

Strip Method

The strip method is the most popular technique for Hair Transplants. This method involves harvesting the hair from the back of the head. The hair is then sliced into small strips, and the strips are transplanted into the balding area.

Although this method is the most widely used, there are several drawbacks. For one, it is not very effective. It is not possible to harvest a large amount of hair in one session. Also, the method results in a few visible scars.

Full-Thickness Graft Method

The full-thickness graft method is another popular technique for hair transplantation. This method involves harvesting hair from the back of the head, which is then “fattened” using a scalpel. The hair is then transplanted to the balding area.

Full-Thickness Grafts are the most effective method of hair transplantation. This method has the advantage of providing a larger amount of hair, but there are disadvantages to this method.

First, this method produces a lot of visible scars. Second, there is no way to transplant hair to the sides of the head. Also, there is no way to hide the scarring.

Follicular Unit Transplantation

Follicular Unit Transplantation is the newest method of Hair Transplants. This method is very popular because of its effectiveness and minimal scarring. This method is also referred to as FUT, FUE, or Follicular Unit Extraction.

This method involves the extraction of small hair grafts. These grafts are then inserted into the balding area. This process is much easier than traditional methods, and it allows the hair to grow naturally.

The hair grafts are taken from the back of the head. The hair is then separated into small follicular units (FUs). FUs are the basic unit of hair growth. Each FU is about 1 to 2 mm in diameter.

FUT is the preferred method of hair transplantation today. It is the most effective method of hair transplantation. This method results in minimal scarring, and the hair grows naturally.
